Scholarship Details
The HOPES Foundation is committed to helping talented and economically disadvantaged students from various public universities and higher education institutions in Bangladesh. Our scholarships are designed to alleviate financial burdens, allowing students to focus on their studies and achieve their academic and career goals.

1. Scholarship Overview

HOPES Foundation offers scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Our scholarships cover a range of disciplines including agriculture, medicine, engineering, business, and social sciences.

2. Eligibility Criteria
​
To be eligible for a HOPES Foundation scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be enrolled in a recognized public university including medical, engineering, agricultural universities or higher education institutions in Bangladesh.

Students of any private university, open university, or institute will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Must have a strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 4.5 (on a 5.0 scale) or equivalent.

Demonstrate financial need with supporting documents.

Active participation in extracurricular activities and community service is highly encouraged.
3. Scholarship Duration

The scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of four years for undergraduate students.

HOPES authority reserves the right to modify, amend, or cancel the scholarship rules, including the duration, at any time.
4. Scholarship Amount

Tk 2500/- per month for students of medical, engineering, agriculture, or other public university faculties.

Tk 2000/- per month for students of national universities/ colleges under national university/ polytechnic or other governmental institutes public universities (under special considerations).

The scholarship authority may consider increasing the scholarship amount for students with special circumstances or needs, subject to availability of funds and other relevant factors.
5. Scholarship Cancellation

If the student fails to maintain a satisfactory academic record.

If the student is involved in any disciplinary action or misconduct.

If the student withdraws from the university or discontinues their studies.
